The Project Redline Fitness GRF Swing Trainer is Downshift Golf's complete home training system for ground reaction forces. Four resistance bands, a stabilizer bar, handles, and a door anchor — everything you need to train the torque, lateral, and vertical forces that determine how much of your body's power actually reaches the clubhead.
What ground reaction forces are and why they matter
The golf swing generates power through a kinetic sequence: pressure into the ground on the backswing, lateral weight shift on the downswing, rotational torque through impact, and a vertical push-off as the club meets the ball. Most amateur golfers generate speed with their arms and upper body. Elite ball strikers start from the ground. Project Redline trains that pattern directly.
How RNT training works
Reactive Neuromuscular Training (RNT) applies resistance in the opposite direction of the movement you want to produce. If a band pulls your hips backward when they should be shifting forward, your nervous system fires the correct muscles to resist — and learns the movement pattern faster than repetition alone can teach. The door anchor means you train solo, at home, without a force plate or coaching assistant. You anchor the band to the door, set your position, and let the resistance do the teaching.
Built for serious use
Four bands across three resistance levels — 2 light (red), 1 medium (gray), 1 heavy (black), each 52 inches long — can be combined for varied total resistance as strength and movement quality improve. Steel carabiners on all attachments (not plastic) hold up under training loads. The stabilizer bar enables bilateral compound movements that unilateral band work alone can't replicate.
Two-year warranty. Pairs with the Downshift Pressure Board for a complete ground mechanics training system — the board trains lateral pressure shift; Project Redline adds torque and vertical force training to complete the picture.
