The GPOD Base 2.0 is the accessory that turns any GPOD monopod or alignment stick into a stable indoor tripod. A 3-leg collapsible base with a stainless steel counterweight for stability on hard floors. Includes the GPOD Connect 2.0 adapter for alignment-stick compatibility.
What it solves
The original GPOD is great in turf — the sharpened spike on the bottom stakes into grass and locks the rig in place. Hard floors are different. Concrete, simulator carpet, hardwood, tile — none of them grip a spike. The Base 2.0 is the solution: a tripod base with a counterweight that holds steady on any flat surface.
Repurpose your alignment sticks
The included GPOD Connect 2.0 adapter accepts standard alignment sticks. So if you already own alignment sticks (you probably do), the Base + Connect lets you convert them into a phone mount. Pair with a GPOD Mini ($29.99 sold separately) for the full setup.
Indoor and outdoor
The bottom of the Base has a 1/4-inch threaded hole that accepts a G-PEG spike for outdoor stability when you want extra grip in soft turf or on a slope. One accessory, every surface.
