The GPOD Pauly P is the most flexible swing-capture rig in the GPOD lineup. An aluminum alloy body with a 360-degree ball joint, an oversized textured height adjustment ring, and a 5.5-inch stainless steel GPEG spike that threads on for outdoor use. Same workflow as the rest of the GPOD family — but with full adjustability and the build quality to handle heavier devices.
Aluminum, not carbon
Carbon fiber is light. Aluminum alloy is stiff. The Pauly P uses aluminum because the buyer profile is "this is my one content-creation rig," which often means an iPad or heavier device, longer recording sessions, and more frequent adjustment. Aluminum holds up to that use better than carbon fiber.
Indoor and outdoor with one tool
The threaded base accepts the included GPEG spike for outdoor use or the GPOD Base 2.0 (sold separately) for indoor use. The 1/4-inch thread is universal — any tripod base, table mount, or surface clamp works. One tool, every environment.
