The GPOD X is the collapsible version of the original GPOD. A 3-piece carbon fiber body that telescopes from 20 inches collapsed to 51 inches extended, with a quarter-turn cam lock at each joint. Same MagSafe head, same swing-capture function — just folds down small enough for any bag.
Why telescoping
The original GPOD is one piece, which is the most rigid possible build. The X trades a small amount of stability for full collapsibility — 20 inches stored, 51 inches working. Adjustable to any height in between, so the camera matches your iron length, your putter setup, or whatever you're capturing.
Same head, same workflow
The GPUCK MagSafe head is identical to the original GPOD. Snap an iPhone 12 through 15 directly on. For other phones, three 3M-adhesive metal plates ship in the box. Universal 1/4 inch thread on the base lets you use any standard tripod head if you'd prefer to swap.
Built for travel
20-inch collapsed length fits inside golf bag side pockets, carry-ons, and backpacks. Carbon fiber keeps total weight low. For golfers who travel for golf, the X is the right call.
