The GPUCK is the magnetic head that ships with every GPOD monopod and tripod. Sold standalone, it's a $19.99 way to add MagSafe magnetic phone mounting to any existing 1/4-inch tripod or mount.
What it threads onto
Any tripod, monopod, or arm with a 1/4-inch standard thread. That includes virtually every photography tripod on the market, plus the GPOD lineup. Swap a clamp-style phone holder for the GPUCK and you get MagSafe-native mounting for iPhones 12-15 plus magnetic hold on any device via the included metal plates.
Why MagSafe is the right standard
Clamp-style phone mounts are slow to attach and detach, and they grip individual phones differently depending on case thickness. MagSafe is Apple's standard for magnetic accessories — fast snap-on, consistent hold, and the magnet alignment is engineered for the iPhone's wireless charging coil. For non-Apple phones, the included 3M metal plates give you the same fast-attach experience.
